Continuing to make a difference in the Georgia’s general Assembly. Last year, HMHB experienced great success in our legislative Agenda (please see our 2006 summary for more details)! 

Your voice counts, it was heard and has made a difference in the manner in which families receive healthcare services.

HMHB is a dedicated network of grassroots advocates, healthcare professionals and concerned citizens.  In order to keep you abreast of the latest legislation and policy activity, we will post in this section of our site the legislative updates and any important legislative announcements.   Please add this page to your favorites as it is a place you will want to check weekly for the newest updates. 

Typically, legislative updates urge our Coalition members to contact state legislators or a particular committee member in an effort to influence the outcome on a legislative or budget item.
