- CERTIFIED LACTATION COUNSELOR (CLC):
- HMHB’s Outreach Coordinator, Ca’Sandra Phillips, is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). You may contact her via email or by calling our office 770-451-0020.
- In December 2011 two more of our staff will attend CLC training, in 2012 two more staff will attend. Goal: All PowerLine Information & Referral Specialists will be Certified Lactation Counselors by the end of 2012.
- “BREASTFEEDING YOUR BABY” PAMPHLET by The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). Explains the benefits of breastfeeding for Baby and Mom; facts about breastfeeding; how to breastfeed, tips on diet, birth control, and going back to work; and how to keep your breasts healthy.
- Offered to all Georgia OB/GYNS through the Georgia OB/GYN Society. For distribution to pregnant patients at first prenatal visit.
- Provided to Grady Healthy Baby Program

- IBLCE EDUCATION - 5 hours credit offered at our Annual Meeting & Conference on October 11, 2011 – Let’s Go Beyond Just Talking about Breastfeeding.
