Lillian W. Jackson

Lillian Jackson is a strategic communications/public relations career professional. Currently, she is Community Relations Manager for the Georgia Department of Transportation, creating and managing partnership and outreach efforts, advertising campaigns, public involvement strategies and special events. In addition, Jackson is an accomplished writer/editor and speechwriter. Jackson's public relations career has included strategic communications positions with The JacksonHeath Group, Inc., Morehouse College and Meharry Medical College as well as freelance speechwriting for senior executives at The UPS Foundation, Coca-Cola Enterprises and several colleges and universities. In addition, she has provided volunteer support for several youth- and education-oriented community organizations and is a graduate of the Metro Atlanta United Way VIP program. Jackson earned a BA in Journalism from Howard University and she and husband Harold have four children and four grandsons.
