Patricia Ecklund

Pat Ecklund graduated from the College of Saint Teresa, Winona, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her career in public health spans 35 years in Georgia.  Pat is now a retired from her work as a Public Health Nurse Consultant at the Georgia Division of Public Health, Family Health Branch, Infant and Child Health Program.   While there,  she worked in collaboration with families and all child health oriented public and private agencies to ensure comprehensive health services to all children and families in Georgia.  Throughout her Public Health career, Pat represented the Office of Infant and Child Health on several committees relating to the health and well being of children.

Ms. Ecklund’s endeavors after retirement have been with HMHB as a Board Member and Advocate.  In addition to her work with HMHB, Pat is a member of the Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities, the Georgia Public Health Association, and the DeKalb MR/DD Auxiliary.
