Tita Stewart joined AMERIGROUP Corporation as the director of community relations in August 2005 and currently serves as AVP, Marketing.  Tita is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community relations department leading a team of ten working to build relationships with community-based organizations, schools and faith-based organizations to promote health education.

Previously, Ms. Stewart was the executive director of the Boys and Girls Club in Metro Atlanta, Ga. During her tenure she was instrumental in conceiving and implementing numerous marketing strategies and programs relating to domestic promotions, missions and campaigns that targeted new corporate markets. Examples of her programs include ESPN and the Jr. NBA League. Her results-oriented leadership and hands-on approach to the Boys and Girls Club management and daily operations for corporate expansion, retention and recruitment led the organization to achieve their goals and objectives for value-added job creation and retaining jobs at-risk.   While serving in this capacity, Ms. Stewart was instrumental in increasing membership annually by 30%. She also held other leadership positions with the Boys and Girls Club of Savannah, Ga.

Tita Stewart holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Public Administration from Keller Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Savannah State University.   She serves on the Board of Directors of the Empty Stocking Fund and Boys & Girls Clubs Program Board. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and volunteers as a mentor. She is married to Bobby Stewart and they have one son, Blake.
