About Us: Since 1974, Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia (HMHB) has been the strongest statewide voice for improved access to healthcare and health outcomes for Georgia’s women and babies. Our mission is to improve maternal and infant health outcomes in Georgia through advocacy, education and access to vital resources. Looking for Board Members who have the following experience/background:
Information Technology (Database, Telecommunications, Website and App Development, Call Center, Etc.)
Media (Print/Radio/Online/Broadcast, Etc.)
Commercial Real Estate / Property Development
Accounting/Financial Controls
Legal
Marketing
Business
Corporate Healthcare
Employees of Corporations Based in Georgia
Current Size: 14 Members
Tenure: Board is well established; organization founded in 1974
Annual Financial Contribution: Yes - $250 annual dues + fundraising requirements
Term: 2 Years
Meeting Schedule: Bi-Monthly (5-6 per year)
Committees: Advocacy, Programs, Public Relations, Organizational Management (monthly calls)
