Alison Thompson

Alison Thompson is a senior director in Emory University's Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations. In this role, she leads a team responsible for forging corporate and foundation relationships across the Institution's health sciences and medical enterprise. With over a decade in the fundraising field, Alison has experience working to secure funding for both domestic and international public health projects, with a strong background in prospect research, development of fundraising strategies, and facilitation of the dialogue necessary to build partnerships. Alison holds a BA in English from Davidson College and an MPA with a concentration in nonprofit management from Georgia State University. She lives in Ormewood Park with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she can be found reading, running on the Beltline, and cheering her kids on at their soccer games.
