Our I&R Specialists go through extensive training including: cultural competency, service knowledge, AIRS standards, HIPAA compliance & confidentiality of client data. They work hard to assure adherence to all contract protocols and to promote positive engagement with all callers to our multiple lines of business.

Calls are reviewed throughout the month to assure quality and ongoing training for all I&R Specialists. Recordings of these calls can be provided during monthly reporting. Complex cases and calls that require follow-up are provided immediately.

Our Quality Assurance Team reviews caller data on a bi-weekly basis to ensure all data is entered correctly and reports are accurate. Our reports reflect a wide range of data pertaining to callers and their needs.

HMHBGA currently has four native-Spanish speakers on our staff from throughout Latin America (Peru, Mexico, Cuba & Dominican Republic). We believe that our common goal is enhanced by our diverse backgrounds. We also offer translation in over 170+ languages on all of our lines in partnership with Language Line. Moreover, our I&R staff regularly participate in a number of cultural competency trainings, including topics such as serving LGBTQ+ families and aging populations, among others.
