Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia Announces Interim Executive Director 

May 19, 2025 – ATLANTA, GEORGIA – Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia (HMHBGA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Margaret Master, MBA, MPH as the organization’s Interim Executive Director. Margaret officially began her role on May 19, 2025. 

Margaret Master brings a rich background in maternal and child health research. She is a former research manager at Emory University Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH), where she focused on maternal-child health outcomes including maternal mortality projects in partnership with the Georgia Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control. She has also conducted research related to home visiting, disaster preparedness for MCH populations, postpartum care, and helped lead Georgia’s Title V Needs Assessment.  

Before public health, Margaret worked in brand management and product development at The Clorox Company, and also at the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago leading mediation trainings and programs. Margaret’s connection to HMHBGA began as a master’s level intern from 2017 to 2018, and she continued supporting the organization as a volunteer through the Advocacy Committee and Workplace Accommodations Committee, and on the Board of Directors 

“I am so excited to support HMHBGA in this new way, working alongside the staff and our partners to improve outcomes for the moms and babies in Georgia,” Master said.
